- Additional written papers in Mathematics and English in January; these papers can only be taken at Westminster Under School.
- Based on the results of the written papers, in February the School invites back approximately 60 boys for an interview with a senior member of staff.
- Shortly after the interview day, the School will contact candidates to let them know whether they have been offered a place. The deadline for offer acceptance is usually in early March.
Year 4 (age 8+) entry Admission Process
- In January, all boys for the 8+ entrance assessments will sit tests in Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- From this pool of applicants the School then selects a group of boys to take further tests and attend an informal interview with a senior member of staff.
- Shortly after the classroom activity and interview day, the School will contact candidates to let them know if whether they have been offered a place. The deadline for offer acceptance is usually at the end of January.
Year 3 (age 7+) entry Admission Process
- In mid-October, all for the 7+ entrance assessments will sit tests in Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- Based on the results of the written papers, later in November the School invites back approximately 50 boys for classroom activities and an interview.
- Shortly after the classroom activity and interview day, the School will contact candidates’ parents to let them know whether their son has been offered a place. The deadline for offer acceptance is usually at the end of January.
