As long as I live I put my faith in Christ who died for me.. It is a Girls Day School, which serves the educational needs of hundreds of students from Nursery through XII. The classes in Loreto Convent School Delhi Cantt for every academic year begins in April.
Loreto Convent School, Delhi Cantt is unaided all girls' Roman catholic Christian school. The school is meant primarily for Catholics. School is also open to girls of other religions.
In October 1964, two Loreto nuns came to Delhi and started the school in Tents at 28 Mall Road. School was able to enroll 370 children within a year. In 1966 the school started functioning in its current location and Mother Francis Clare became the Founder Principal.
The school was initially affiliated to CISCE ICSE curriculum, in 1987 school decided to move to CBSE education system.
The Loreto Schools are associated with Sisters of Loreto and run by Loreto Education Society. Loreto nuns are those who belong to the Irish branch of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which was founded by Mary Ward.

Delhi Nursery (PreSchool) Admission Process for admission to Open Seats in Loreto Convent School Delhi Cantt and other private schools will start from 23 November 2023. School will upload the admission procedure and admission criteria along with points for each criterion for admission in Open seats (non-EWS/DG/CWSN category seats), on its official website/notice board and edudel website by November 20, 2023.

The School initially started in tents and moved to Parade road location in July 1966. From 1966 to 1970 the number of students increased from 500 to 840. Due to increase in the number of enrolments, a new wing with extra classrooms and laboratories was added to the school in 1972 create extra rooms for senior school. School added more classrooms in 1980 due to increase in number of students to 1200.
From Class Nursery till Class IV school has 2 sections and the remaining classes have 3 sections.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Sports and Athletics are important part of the school curriculum. School students regularly participates in School Level, Inter school and state and national level sports competitions.
The School provides all students an opportunity to participate in various activities which includes art, craft, needlework, dancing, music, singing, dramatics, elocution, creative writing, debates, quizzes, environmental initiatives and community building exercises.
Student also participates in JPIC, LTS and YCS.
Students from V to XII are given opportunity to help disadvantaged as part of the School’s Outreach Programme. Girls of Class V and VI coordinate with staff in various Jeevan Rekha Activities like tailoring and cutting course, Cooking, Beautician and computer skills. School offers certificate courses in these areas to Women of all ages.
