H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University will be conducting Admission to UG Medical Professional courses and NEET UG Counselling for admission to academic year 2018-2019 and will publish Merit List, Ranks and other UG Medical admission process.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organises National Eligibility and Entrance Test Medical Entrance Exam Under Graduate (NEET-UG) every year for admission to any graduate medical course in government or private medical colleges. Admission UG courses MBBS and BDS to All India Medical and Dental Colleges approved and recognised by MCI and DCI is through NEET UG. For the admission in academic session 2018-19, the CBSE conducted the NEET (UG) 2018 entrance test on May 2018. NEET UG 2018 result was announced on June 2018. As part of the NEET UG result CBSE provides marks scored and All India Rank (Percentile secured) to the candidates.
NEET UG-2018 Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling will be conducted by H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University. The counseling will be for
- M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Courses in Government/Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Private Medical college affiliated with State Private University of Uttarakhand against State quota seats.
- M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Courses in Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Private Medical college affiliated with State Private University of Uttarakhand against All India- Management quota seats.
Of the total MBBS and BDS courses seats available for admission in 2018-19 in the approved MCI and DCI colleges, following is the distribution of seats
| All India Quota | 15% of total Seats in the colleges | Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
Online counselling would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services for these seats. Information for online counselling would only be available on Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website (www.mcc.nic.in). |
| State Quota | remaining 85% seats | The counselling of 85% seats state quota will be conducted by the state medical counselling authority in case of Uttarakhand by Uttarakhand Medical Council. |

Counselling registration fee
Online counselling registration Fee is Rs. 2,000/- (For Round I and Round II ) and Rs. 1,000/- for mop-up Round for all categories.
Security Deposit
In compliance to Gazette of India No. 189 dated 18, May 2018 regarding Special provision to prevent seat blocking by the candidates the following security amount will be payable by the candidates at the time of registration. In case of non allotment of seat the security amount will be refunded to the candidates. If candidates fail to report to the allotted college after the date of free exit the security money forfeited.
- For Govt. colleges Rs. 10,000/‐ (Rs. 5,000/‐ For SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand domcile only.)
- For Private Medical Colleges Rs. 1,00,000/‐ for all categories.
- For Private Dental Colleges Rs. 10,000/‐ for all categories (Rs. 5,000/‐ For SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand domcile only).
