Admission Committee will conduct Counseling for the Odisha state Quota Seats/Government Seats and Private Management and NRI Quota seats in Medical and Dental Colleges in Odisha for MBBS and BDS courses. NA organises National Eligibility and Entrance Test Medical Entrance Exam Under Graduate (NEET-UG) every year for admission to any graduate medical course in government or private medical colleges. Admission UG courses MBBS and BDS to All India Medical and Dental Colleges approved and recognised by MCI and DCI is through NEET UG. For the admission in academic session 2019-20, the NA conducted the NEET (UG) 2019 entrance test on 6th May 2019. NEET UG 2019 result was announced on June 2019. As part of the NEET UG result CBSE provides marks scored and All India Rank (Percentile secured) to the candidates.
Counseling shall be done in 85% of total seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges and all seats of Private Medical / Dental Colleges by OJEE. Counseling of Deemed Universities shall be done by DGHS.

Of the total MBBS and BDS courses seats available for admission in 2019-20 in Government and Government Aided MCI and DCI approved colleges, following is the distribution of seats
All India Quota | 15% of total Seats in the colleges | Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.

- Be a Citizen of India
- Students applying for NRI seat should be Non Resident Indian or children of a non resident Indian (NRI means the children or wards of a person of Indian origin residing outside India)
- Should be of atleast 17 year sof age on the 31st december of the academic year for which the admission are being conducted (Must born before 01 Jan 2002)

Odisha NEET UG Counseling Result
In case the candidate resign after admission and on or before the designated date for withdrawal / resignation shall get back 90% of admission fees deposited and 10% shall be retained as processing fees. If the candidate resigns after such date is over, for which a seat lapse, no fees will be refunded and the candidate shall be liable for a financial penalty of Rs. one lakh.

Important Steps for Admission to MBBS and BDS Course in Odisha Medical and Dental Colleges
- Registration : All Candidates interested in Medical and Dental colleges in state of Odisha have to register using www.ojee.nic.in to participate in the counseling procedure. As part of the registration candidates have to fill and submit the online application form with the time mentioned in the schedule released by the OJEE. Candidates have to pay Rs 1,000 online only towards the counselling/application fees.
- Document Verification At Nodal Center: Candidates have to attend the physical document verification to get online application authenticated.

- SC/ST Certificate by birth issued by competent authority, Government of Odisha (See Rule8(I)) j) Green Card issued by Family Welfare Dept. Government of Odisha only.
- Ex Serviceman list is sent by Rajya Sainik Board, so document for Ex-Serviceman quota candidate will not be verified at Nodal center. Names of candidates sent by Rajya Sainik Board will be considered for Ex-serviceman quota seat.
- FOR PC CANDIDATES – Candidates interested to avail Physical Challenged category quota, must appear medical board on declared date at SCB Medical College, Cuttack. Report from Medical board is final and binding on candidate for getting PC quota seat and no other kind of documents are acceptable.
- Counselling Fee: Before reporting at nodal center for document verification, candidate have to pay the counselling fee of Rs1000/- (one thousand only) by online mode which is available at candidate login in ojee webpage(using debit card/credit card/net banking) or by using SBI challan (which can be printed inside candidates login) and by depositing the amount at any SBI branch. Payment proof should be submitted at nodal center.
