The Commissioner, State CET Cell, Mumbai will conduct the admission process for all the Health Science courses in the State of Maharashtra. Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Mumbai which is part of Directorate Of Medical Education & Research (DMER) will be conducting Admission to UG Medical Professional courses and NEET UG Counselling for admission in Medical and Dental Courses (MBBS and BDS) in Maharashtra Medical and Dental Colleges to academic year 2019-2020 and will publish Merit List, Ranks and other UG Medical admission process. Online Counseling will be conducted by CET Cell Mumbai.
The counseling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be on the basis of NEET UG Result 2019 declared by the CBSE, New Delhi and other parameters /criteria mentioned by the Government for the Maharashtra State. CET Cell will conduct counseling for the Maharashtra state Quota Seats/Government Seats and Private Management Quota seats in Medical and Dental Colleges in Maharashtra for MBBS and BDS courses. Besides MBBS / BDS courses in Maharashtra, the admission to other health Sciences courses i.e BAMS/BHMS /BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/BP&O & BSc (Nursing) will be filled on the basis of merit list of NEET UG 2019. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organises National Eligibility and Entrance Test Medical Entrance Exam Under Graduate (NEET-UG) every year for admission to any graduate medical course in government or private medical colleges. Admission UG courses MBBS and BDS to All India Medical and Dental Colleges approved and recognised by MCI and DCI is through NEET UG. For the admission in academic session 2019-20, the NTA conducted the NEET (UG) 2019 entrance test on May 2019. NEET UG 2019 result was announced on 5th June 2019. As part of the NEET UG result NTA provides marks scored and All India Rank (Percentile secured) to the candidates.

Of the total MBBS and BDS courses seats available for admission in 2019-20 in the approved MCI and DCI colleges, following is the distribution of seats
All India Quota | 15% of total Seats in the colleges | Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
Online counselling would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services for these seats. Information for online counselling would only be available on Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website (www.mcc.nic.in). |

Candidates have to bring following certificates and documents on the day of document verification. Please carry all the Originals & One set of attested photocopies of following documents.

- Copy of Online Application Form (Latest) filled on www.dmer.org
- Nationality certificate issued by District Magistrate/Addl. District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate (Competent Authority for issue of such certificate)/ valid Indian passport /School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as Indian.
- Domicile Certificate issued by District Magistrate/Metropolitan Magistrate/ Addl. District Magistrate or Competent Authority for issue of such certificate.

Service Bond & Penalty
As per Government Resolution (G.R. No. MED 1007/CR-490/07/Ed-2 dated 8th Feb 2008 and any G.R issued in this regard from time to time), candidates joined against the seats of Government/Municipal Corporation colleges for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses either through GOI nominee, All India quota or through NEET UG 2019 will be required to sign a bond to serve the Government of Maharashtra or local self government or Defence services for a period of one year, after the completion of internship, failing which he/she will be required to pay Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lacs only) for the default as penalty.
Additionally, he/she will be required to sign an undertaking to the effect that he/she will not leave India within a period of five years from the date of obtaining the degree, otherwise he/she will have to pay Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rs.Ten lacs only) as penalty
