Does Sri Eshwar College of Engineering offer placements?

In Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, they do not offer core placements. We did not have core placements for our batch. Most of the companies that come for placements are IT companies and even among them only 2 or 3 are good companies whose name you might have heard of

Placement is in the downside of Sri Eshwar College of Engineering. In fact, I had a representation, with one of the good companies about placement, and the question he asked about the status of my lab facilities, is one which I was not able to answer.

The institute claims that they offer 100% placements, which is a hollow lie. Only nearly half of the students got placed and very few among them were in proper companies. We were only not given chance to choose core departments like Mech, EIE or Automobile. The only companies that will hire you is from the IT. Very few core companies visit the campus and they take only 1 or 2 ppl max.
