your queries are very right, but as a modern parent we need to understand that putting restrictions is not gonna help. It may turn out to be the worst step as your  child would start hiding things from you annd you couldn't be able to prevent the  harm. Rather it is best to educate your kid about the bad  impacts of certain addiction that may affect the health of your kids. Teach them the proper drinking attiquetes and once ina while through a house party for your kid so thart you would  be able to meet the friends of your kids & have an idea about the kind of places & people that your kid hangout with.

It's good to give your child some space once they enter their teenage. You cannot run behind your child everywhere, but by maintaining a strong bond of communication, you can win their trust to guide them do's and don't in life.
